Spring is almost here!

We acutally had some decent weather today. It was all sunshine and blue skys but that didn’t stop the cold.

This morning I took Bristol for a walk in the town gardens then came home for some breakfast. I had one egg  and a slice of canadian bacon between an english muffin with some orange wedges on the side.

I spent most of the day in the kitchen having a little cleanout and reorginizing. I took a break mid day for a bowl of leftover spaghetti bolognese from last nights dinner (recipe to come tomorrow). I topped it with some parmigiano cheese and a slice of bread that we bought at the farmers market yesterday. Do you think I put enough butter on the bread? Can you ever have too much butter? I think not.

Yesterday I planted some flowers in my little concret backyard to brighten it up and today I planted some herb seeds and put them my mini green house.

Dinner was a chicken breast, broccoli, corn and a baked potato that I smothered in low fat creme fraiche.

Last week I found this Valentines cookie mix with this cute LOVE cookie press on sale. I bought it just for the cookie press because I thought it was super cute.

Sadly the LOVE didnt show up in the cookies once they were baked. Oh well. I will try again with another type of cookie.
